He spoke to @univmiami students and community members on May 19, 1966, as part of the @um_religion Religion Lecture Series. The University recently released a short clip of the speech it uncovered. He also was quoted in the Miami News as telling the crowd: "We must be true to the insights of our Judeo-Christian heritage and have a relevant church that will make it clear time and time again that segregation is immoral. You may beat, jail, bomb us, but we will still love you, Be assured we will wear you down by our capacity to suffer - and we will win you in the process.” #MLK2022 #mlkday #Miami #universityofmiami #305miami
