April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. This is a time for advocates, survivors and their loved ones to come together and talk about sexual violence to increase knowledge and awareness. Sexual assault is a serious and widespread problem, with nearly 1 in 5 women and 1 in 67 men having experienced some range of sexual violence.
Prevention is possible. Know the signs. Encourage open conversations with your children. It can happen to anyone, children included.
š If your child or someone you know may benefit from Mental Health Services, book an appointment at the link in our bio.
