Last week, 3rd-5th graders at St Francis Xavier Academy had an amazing day of learning at Watkins Regional Park! We teamed up with naturalists and park rangers for an engaging lesson on invasive species. From understanding what makes a species invasive to hands-on removal activities, our students dived deep into conservation efforts. 🌍💪 Putting on gloves, they tackled invasive plants, learning the importance of their role in preserving our ecosystem. Discussions also sparked curiosity about careers in natural resources and land management. We are so proud of our
#BuddyBison students for their hard work and dedication to making a difference in the world, one park at a time! 🌿
