Last semester, in the pitt_uag, an installation by Dominican-born ilianaemilia and scherezadegarcia, Agua Firme, was on display in the rotunda. Through video, sound and sculpture, the artists transformed the historic rotunda into an immersive experience which explored the Caribbean history and Caribbean identity.
