I apologize in advance for my long speech. What does this sport mean to me? I rarely take the time to stop and think about how lucky I am to be able to play the sport I love with the people I love. Volleyball has given me everything. I’ve realized lately how much I need volleyball to stay sane right now haha. What volleyball has given me will last forever, from the friendships I’ve made to the many life lessons that the game has taught me. I’m so thankful that I’ve gotten the opportunity to compete with such amazing people. The memories I have made will forever stay with me. This may sound cheesy, but when I play volleyball, I truly think about nothing else, it’s my happy place and I can block out all of the rest. I cannot explain my love for the sport and the people I’ve met along the way. #happynationalvolleyballday
