From the Paralympics to becoming the first “Parastronaut” British Paralympic medalist John McFall is the first person with a physical disability to be recruited by a world space agency. McFall, who won 🥉 in the 100m T42 at Beijing 2008, is part of the Parastronaut Feasibility Project by the European Space Agency (ESA). “I thought that I would be a very good candidate to help ESA answer the question they were asking – can we get someone with a physical disability into space”.
