💜 #Repost ntando_mahlangu_athlete Today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities that aims to promote the rights and well-being of those living with disabilities in all spheres of society. It is an opportunity to look back at this special #memory of my involvement with the jumping_kids_sa youngsters who, like me, were born with a severe congenital condition affecting their lower limbs from above the knee. It is an honor to be able to help promote equal opportunities for these children, to lead by example and show that, with access to prosthetic equipment and equal opportunities in school and in sport, anything is possible. Being fitted with my bilateral prosthetic blade equipment back in 2012 had great impact on my life. It opened many doors. It gave me a chance to move, attend great mainstream schools, and represent my country at the highest level as a professional athlete. It is said that change starts with sport.
