A mini tour of my mom’s garden. With over 30 different types and strains of fruit trees, you can say she has a green thumb. I love coming home and eating anything that’s fresh from the garden, which my mom calls her constant work in progress. Not only is she one of the most creative people I know, but she also got her Mastering in Gardening from UCI, and specializes in rare fruit tree growing, starter plants, and composting. My mom volunteers at a couple local elementary schools and teaches their gardening program with 2nd and 3rd graders.
