In Argentina, there’s only one program like Sordas sin Violencia. Deaf women and their children who experience violence and discrimination are getting the help they need — but it didn’t always exist. The community partnership between hearing and Deaf women provides them with tools, education on their rights, and access to social services — all in their native sign language. Sordas sin Violencia is one of six grassroots initiatives supported by the Spotlight Initiative and UN Foundation through the #WithHer Fund.
