On July 16, 1997, the Newark Black Film Festival screened the 1996 drama, "Get on the Bus." The film's director, Spike Lee, attended the screening as a special guest speaker for a conversation with Dr. Clement A. Price. "Get on the Bus" follows several men headed to the historic Million Man March in Washington, D.C. and tracks their journey not just across America, but down forgotten roads within themselves and onto the common ground of unity and hope on which all must tread.
