Here’s the recipe:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 package (8 ounces) tempeh, crumbled
1/2 cup Panko crumbs
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari (use gluten-free if needed)
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
Marinara sauce for serving

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
Add the garlic and tempeh to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned.
