We're thrilled to have finally announced our expansion into Marion County with Engel & Völkers Ocala. The shop, which will be located at 112 S Magnolia Ave in Downtown Ocala, is currently being outfitted ahead of its grand opening in early 2023. TaMara and Buzzy York were able to secure a grant from the City of Ocala to cover a portion of the restoration of this location and bring it up to code. The one-story commercial vernacular style building was constructed c.1925. Noteable features include brick pilasters at either end of the east facing facade, an accentuated coping, a single bay with a contemporary stucco finish, canvas canopy, and commercial storefront glass with concrete block kick plates. This simple building is located within a collection of contiguous historic structures in downtown Ocala. It appears to have maintained sufficient historic architectural integrity to contribute through its inherent characteristics to a NRHP commercial historic district. . . . #EVFlorida #EV...
