My Calling to be an active father is more important than my comfort! H.O.T. (Humble Open Transparent) Moment - My son MJ currently has autism… which contributes to limited verbal connection through communication. On the other hand, one of his favorite things in the whole world to do with me to connect (since he was a baby…) is being picked up and launched in the air. MJ Is getting sooo BIG-TALL- AND-HEAVY🥵 This time last year I was not physically able to have the stamina to match my only sons desire for interaction and play! So I decided I was not going to let my comfort limit me and MJ’s connection—-He wanted to play “Throw Me” so I went to work! I am happy to report that yesterday I was able to launch MJ (and his sister Ava)for 15 straight minutes without feeling like I was gonna die…(context) last year I couldn’t do it 15 times without feeling exhaustion! Today I want to encourage you to confront your comfort so you can be more present for your kids, your self and loved ones...
