All my life I have hated the rain…🌧 I think it’s because It was always the reason why we couldn’t do something as kids…can’t go to the park, cuz it’s raining, can’t play with our friends …b/c it’s raining etc. Today as I was headed to the pool to relax, it started pouring rain…I probably should have expected it, b/c that is what happens when you are in a rain forest… but ignoring the logic, I immediately became frustrated until Holy Spirit whispered to me “Enjoy The Rain!”🧐 This thought had never occurred to me as an adult before but I was gonna intentionally go swimming in the rain… As I walked out side and started letting the rain hit me…I embraced what I couldn’t control (how long it rained) but still enjoyed what was available to me ( swimming in the pool) Something significant happened to me through this experience…I’m still processing it …but I felt to share that sometimes enjoying the moment means that you have to release your own expectations and preferences… I was gonn...
