Trayvon Bromell burst onto the scene in 2015 when he earned bronze in the 100m final at the 2015 World Outdoor Championships behind Usain Bolt and Justin Gatlin. However, it was Bromell’s golden performance at Portland2016 that firmly established the sprinter as one of the fastest men on the planet. With the best start of any athlete in the 60m final, Bromell crossed the line in 6.47, clapped his hands, bounced off the mat, and immediately celebrated with the U.S. crowd. Lifting his arms emphatically, he chanted, “This is our house.” - Bromell has worked hard to overcome injuries the last few years and has truly found his world class form again in this 2021 indoor season. #Portland2016 x #BlackHistoryMonth
