This moment ⬆️has me wrecked 😭😭😭 As we were seven steps into our #mendedmens March in downtown Tulsa this morning, this courageous young man walks right up next to me and asks, “How do you keep a good mood on a bad day?”… I looked down at him a little perplexed…trying to see how such a poignant question was being asked by an adolescent… I asked him back..” what do you mean by that my man?” And he said “sometimes when I look you up on YouTube to watch your sermons, there’s a lot of people that talk bad about you and say mean things, but I always see you smiling and loving on people… I know that can be hard…and I want to know how to do that!” I knew in that moment I was supposed to be H.O.T. (Humble Open Transparent) with him. This was my response….⬆️ An exchange like this just further deepens the reason why WE have to take our place and COME OUT OF HIDING as mended men.
