Did you know citrus fruits are at peak deliciousness in the winter? It's true. Since we're the ones who use real fruit in our sparkling water, we love an opportunity to celebrate our ingredients when they're at their best. Grapefruits are deceptively challenging. If you've ever cut into one, you know it's always a surprise - it could be tart, sweet, bitter, juicy, dark, light, bright, pithy, etc. Luckily after years of searching, we found the best-tasting grapefruits in the grove to go into our product. To this day, we taste every single batch of real squeezed fruit before it goes into Spindrift (including Grapefruit!). Then we taste every batch of Spindrift as it's made. Then we taste it again before it hits shelves. We do a lot of tasting - we're perfectionists (also, we love Spindrift).
