Don't call it a comeback - hideawaycafe is still bringing some of the best live music to stages all over St. Pete. While the longtime music venue on Central Ave has closed, its spirit lives on through 'Hideaway Cafe Presents,' a program hosting some of the area's best acts in many of the Burg's best venues. The venture is a continuation of the mission and ethos of Hideaway Cafe, led by its founder John Kelly, and the music series has several marquee acts lined up at a variety of venues in town, along with additional weekly and monthly programming. Even the beloved Wednesday night shows are back, with free performances from local musicians in bayborobrewing's North Hall event space every Wednesday at 8 pm.
