The long-awaited SunRunner service is set to begin operations on Friday, October 21, ridepsta announced today. To celebrate the launch, the SunRunner will offer free rides for the first six months of its loop from downtown St. Pete to the beaches. The SunRunner line is likened to train service, offering 30 stations with frequent service along 1st Avenues North and South. The hybrid electric buses are equipped with air conditioning, WiFi, wheelchair ramps, and in-bus bike racks.
