The bastion for film festival favorites, and underground darlings has joined ifcfilms ‘s Indie Theater Revival Project — opening its vault of award-winners and blockbusters to indie theaters across the country. Green Light owner Mike Hazlett kicks off the revival with a week-long screening of the award-winning film “#Boyhood” from director Richard Linklater and starring Ethan Hawke and Patricia Arquette. Tickets to the screening are just $7 and can be reserved online. Safety protocols include a mask requirement, limited capacity screenings, and seat rows set 6 feet apart. Upcoming films include #FrancesHa and 45 Years. There are other ways to support the theater! Green Light has launched a virtual cinema, so you can enjoy classic and contemporary masterpieces from home. The theater is available for rent for private screenings/events.
