Not sure how to improve your recap videos? Here’s my process for shooting every show or live event. Part 1. Every good recap video is broken down into close, medium, and wide shots. Wide shots help establish a location. They tell us where the video is taking place and also shows the magnitude of the event. Medium shots are great for showing different interactions that might happen at an event. For example, an artist performing on stage and the crowd jumping up and down. Close ups are for intimate moments. These types of shots help us connect with viewers and trigger emotional responses.
