Mascot (mas·cot)

A person or thing that is supposed to bring good luck or that is used to symbolize a particular event or organization.
In 1969, a committee created the Chief Quabachi concept as a mascot for the school. This Indian Chief (and accompanying legend) was used as a mascot until 1989.
In 1995, the university welcomed
