Rio's story ♿️💙 "At 3 years old, Rio woke up in the early hours of the morning screaming and unable to use his back legs. You literally feel like you & your dogs life is falling apart before your eyes (which it is). After unsuccessful emergency spinal surgery, months of physio, acupuncture and laser therapy, it was confirmed that the use of his back legs wouldn’t return due to the damage of his spinal cord during the surgery. But then… we had a second chance! Rio received his Walkin' Wheels from Broken Biscuits Charity, and from the day he got them it was our new way of life, our wheelie life. He has the same personality, love for life and he's crazier than ever. He just uses wheels rather than his floppy back legs. I wish I could tell the person I was two years ago when the injury happened that everything will be okay and show them the life we have now.
