During our visit, we got to meet with incredible community leaders from across many sectors, all of which are working to support the community of #Flint and Genesee County. These sectors included #healthcare, #education, #government, faith-based organizations, and #banking. Included in our group photos above: . - Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, pediatrician, public health advocate, author of “What the Eyes Don’t See”, and a professor at michiganstateu. Dr. Hanna-Attisha’s research exposed the #FlintWaterCrisis. She now co-chairs the Crim’s mindfulness advisory committee. . - Dr. Pamela Pugh, Chief Public Health Advisor for the City of Flint who works closely with Mayor Karen Weaver, and whose former consultancy focuses on economically sustainable and healthy urban communities. . - David Bush, Community School Director for Doyle-Ryder Elementary School (K-6), who was born and raised in Flint, and whose work as a liaison between The Crim Foundation and the schools allows him to share mindfulnes...
