As part of the Ghana GIX, students (and faculty!) traveled to Cape Coast where they took part in Global Mamas Drumming and Dance Workshop by the beach. The evening was marked by a beautiful sunset with rhythms and high-energy dances of Ghana that proudly express the local culture. The traditional song and dance is performed by the locals in both weddings and funerals. #westafrica #capecoast #ghanaianculture
