Dance is so much more than just moving to music. It’s passion, it’s love, and most importantly, it’s culture. Professional Bachata dancers alexanddesiree have made it part of their mission to share their Latinx and Hispanic heritage with the world through their chosen artform. “Growing up Latino, we are exposed to dancing at family gatherings, special events, and even at home,” Desiree explains. “The connection of both food and dance associated with significant and joyful events makes dancing a special part of Latino culture.” They pride themselves on being educators in not only dance but the culture that inspired it. “We are leveraging that portal as a fun and social entry point to having more in-depth conversations about our Latin community. This will help us all learn more about who we were, where we are, and where we are headed.” Any other dancers in the house? 💃🏽 How has dance showed up personally or professionally in your life? #HispanicHeritageMonth #BachataDancing #OnTheR...
