There are currently five Buttermilk Biscuits (badass female ski patrollers) saving the day on Buttermilk. Every Biscuit gets a nickname, like “Party Biscuit,” “Ginger Biscuit,” or “Alpha Biscuit”—and Biscuits that move to Aspen Highlands are dubbed “Biscuit gone bad.” But once a Biscuit, always a Biscuit; these women support and lift each other up both on and off the mountain. Even cooler? When they aren’t patrolling Buttermilk, they’re out working as nurses, firefighters, paramedics, raft guides, moms, and more.
Give them, and any patroller, a big ol’ thank you the next time you see them 👊.
