Wow. That is the first word that comes to mind as I lay my eyes on the beauty of these great Pyramids. Constructed on the Giza plateau outside modern-day Cairo, the Pyramids were burial tombs and monuments for the Pharaohs, and may have taken generations and tens of thousands of workers to complete. I can only imagine the sheer time and work that it took to put it all together. And despite being made centuries ago, it has somehow stood the test of time and remains in existence even to this day. If you have not had the pleasure of beholding its beauty, I encourage you to do so when you can so that you may too know of its wonder. The Pyramids is one of the earliest wonders available to you in Civ 5 and will definitely speed up your early development. While it may fall further down your priority list on higher difficulties, don’t overlook building this in the early game.
