🔹WEDNESDAYS ARE FOR SPOTLIGHTS🔹 This week’s spotlight is our center back, Matt Katz! 🔸Sophomore, studying Business Finance. 🔸Wants to be a business owner once graduated. 🔸Has been playing soccer since he was 5 y.o. 🔸Favorite player is @cmpulisic - “Captain America” 🔸Favorite memory so far is traveling with the team to Washington. 🔸 “Matt is an excellent player who was vital to our success last year & will be so for the foreseeable future. He is highly technical with a strong IQ for the game & is capable of being deployed in numerous positions. He’s played center back, fullback, & even as a late-game forward when goals are needed. It has been awesome to see Matt grow into a leader & he has continued to take ownership for the group during the difficult COVID period. Though I’m not sure he realizes it, he is one of the best teachers of the game in the whole group.
