We saw the battle between two Americans on Saturday as Reggie Cannon and Haji Wright faced off in the English Championship. Wright, who was playing on the left-wing, troubled the right-back Cannon all game long. He beat him to set up Coventry’s goal. But Cannon had the last laugh as QPR won the game 2-1. Wright had a brilliant season in the Championship. In his first year in England, he managed 18 goals and seven assists. He also showed his versatility by playing on the wing, as a lone striker up top, and playing with another striker in 4-4-2.
