The resolution urges campus to do the same, stating that the ASUC “condemns UC Berkeley’s complicity in the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people” with its investments in companies with ties to Israel and the war in Gaza such as Lockheed Martin and BlackRock. It also reaffirms the ASUC’s divestment from companies on the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions list from a resolution passed in 2013.
