Congratulations to #NUSoC's own Professor Rives Collins who was recently notified by the American Alliance for Theatre and Education that he is the 2024 recipient of their Campton Bell Lifetime Achievement Award. This award honors an individual for "a lifetime of outstanding contributions" serving and inspiring "theatre artists, educators, and scholars committed to transforming young people and communities through the theatre arts." Collins is an active member and past president of the American Alliance for Theatre and Education and is a current board member of the Children’s Theatre Foundation of America. He has taught in the #NUSoC's Department of Theatre for the past thirty-five years. Congratulations and bravo to a truly inspiring scholar! Now that is how you #SoCSeriousPlay! #GoCats
