writing this post was incredibly difficult but i will forever be grateful. i will forever be grateful to the sport of track. it taught me so much and opened more doors for me than i could have ever imagined. i’m grateful for all the coaches throughout my sports careers. i learned how to be the person i am today through the good and bad. unfortunately, my college sports career had to come to an end and medical retirement with a few more years of eligibility remaining. after months of pain and struggle i was diagnosed with a chronic illness and various other problems. i have spent time through the help of God, family, friends, and teammates to begin my next steps and process towards finding a new purpose and better health. through my resilience and trust in God i have managed to turn a lot of the negative into positive. i will strive for the lessons sports taught me forever. i will cherish them into my next chapters. i am forever grateful for all my accomplishments and opportunities thro...
