The early bird gets the worm. Every morning when I go outside it’s perched around our fire pit. When I have my camera though, it’s nowhere to be seen. We have even been having dinner out there since it’s been so nice and while we eat, it again resides right above us. Not this morning though. I went outside to focus on the feeders and bird baths to get a shot of birds eating or in the bird bath when out of the corner of my eye I saw a vibrant flutter. As I turned, I saw the bluebird fly to the fire pit with something in its mouth…it’s breakfast!
