Welcome to another #ScenicSunday where we go beyond the standard #USNA tour and showcase places around the yard that are not usually seen by the public. Today, we are going where very few midshipmen have gone before - the attic of Bancroft Hall! The attic connects the entirety of Bancroft, making it a massive area to cover. There are quite a few ways to enter the attic, but all entrances require permission to access. For this #ScenicSunday, we entered a portion between the 2nd Wing and 4th Wing. Upon entering, you will most likely have to crouch in order to avoid hitting your head on the low ceiling. After making your way down a wooden path, you will come across a true hidden gem: the previous exterior of Bancroft. Before 2nd Wing was built, part of 4th Wing was not enclosed and was exposed to the outside.
