My two year self-employment anniversary is in April 2017, and I’m now feeling like I’ve gotten the hang of this “working for myself” thing. Although I don’t have a traditional office, one of the things I’ve learned is that my small solopreneur business still needs “big business” concepts – like a separate savings account. My big savings goal in 2017 is to build up an emergency fund for my business, so I can really start to separate out personal and business finances once and for all.
