A lurid purple store stands tall in the middle of a busy shopping street in Vancouver — but it’s not the vivid color that catches our eyes. It’s the giant letters spelling out “mushroom dispensary” on its facade. Inside, more than 20 varieties of psychedelic fungi are for sale. And the store is not alone.
