George Floyd’s life mattered. They ALL mattered but this one made it’s mark and impact like no other. Just when you feel like you take a step forward, we take a couple steps back in the same day with the death of 16 year old #MakhiaBryant and the recent death of 20 year old #DaunteWright. Today was bittersweet for me. We have to NORMALIZE today’s verdict against RACIST COPS and hold them ACCOUNTABLE. If not, it’s not a matter of when but who’s next?! As a black man and as a father, I’m not comfortable.
