To express how much you’re missed would be very difficult. The pain of your loss is still being felt today since you went home to be with the Lord in 2012. Today is a bittersweet day as we celebrate you but just know you molded a strong-willed individual in me and I know you’d be proud. You lived through segragation, talked to me about the days of slavery of my great grandparents, the discrimination and racism that you encountered but I want you to know I heard you, I listened and I’ve experienced it too and you be proud of how I handled those that tried to handle me.
