How does this keep happening? A young Black man was in his own apartment when Florida Sheriff’s deputies allegedly burst in and opened fire. A witness said they were at the wrong address. The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said its deputies were responding to a disturbance in progress call. The family of the man, 23 year-old Roger Fortson, says not only was there no disturbance, police were at the wrong address. Forston was an active duty Senior Airman with the U.S. Air Force.
