I got my dream art scholarship for a 1 month intensive summer course. I will be living in a historic Italian villa decorated with frescoes just outside of Rome with 12 other artists. We will be doing nothing but drawing and painting from morning until night and studying renaissance philosophy. We can only listen to classical music and we have to dress like we’re in church. It’s a chance to address some of my weakest areas of drawing through repetition and concentration.
