🫡 Please welcome this week's Firstie Friday, a soon-to-be usairforce pilot trainee, C1C Alex Cortez from Fullerton, CA. 🌴 Alex has military flowing through his veins, following in his family's footsteps. Once a preppie and now a Military Strategic Studies major, Alex is an avid reader and was involved with the Cadet First Responders, Falcon Wings, Air Education and Training Command Summer Leadership Program (AETC SLP), and photography for the Falcons. One of his best memories at the Academy was going on a TDY to JBSA-Lackland and interacting with trainees at basic military training. He says it was humbling and invigorating to meet future Airmen and work alongside the military training leaders. "They are definitely a cut above." His advice to fellow and future cadets?
