In Jane Schoenbrun’s films, ecstasy and annihilation coexist on the other side of a screen. Their new film I Saw The TV Glow has an unmistakeable love for music, from the small details (riot grrl posters on Maddy’s wall, a cameo from Lindsey “snailmail” Jordan, and a small role for Limp Bizkit frontman freddurst) to the music.
