Richard Williams, 79, is a native Memphian and is a 1963 graduate of Carver High School.  He began his college career at S.A. Owens Jr. College in 1966.  In 1968, Richard was drafted for the Vietnam war, and after returning, he enrolled at LeMoyne-Owen and finished his degree requirements but did not participate in commencement because he did not have the $50.00 graduation fee. Over the years, Richard Williams has achieved several notable accomplishments. This weekend, he will achieve another!
