Today I’m thinking about how #BrokenBottles came to be... In June of 2016, I was hanging out w matt__pond + listening to his demos. One struck me immediately. It was a fragmented verse + chorus, but I loved the cinematic nature and shruggy sassiness of the first line: "Those broken bottles must’ve come down from the clouds.” I finished writing it that week and a gang of beautiful folks helped me realize my sonic dream (chriskuffner recorded, produced + played bass while bessrogers played guitar at their home studio in Brooklyn, NY. elliotjacobson played drums, brandon_bost mixed it in NYC + adamgons...
