One of our newest Community Partners, A Guided Journey, picked up their first batch of bright, green bundles to deliver to mothers in the greatest need. A Guided Journey is a program started by Mecklenburg County Public Health (MCPH), in partnership with Care Ring and Symmetry Behavioral Health Systems, to help mothers access a trusted, professional Community Health Worker to guide them through all the phases of having a child. This is especially valuable for low-income, at-risk, and first-time moms. Through this program, no family will have to walk the journey of having a child alone.
