Devin Dreeshen, Alberta Minister of Transportation, sent a letter to Calgary Mayor Gondek adding some new conditions to the Green Line's 1.53 billion in funding that had previously been agreed to. Firstly, no additional funding will be provided by the province under any circumstances. Secondly, the Green Line needs to be fully integrated with the UCP's "Master Rail Plan" which was recently announced. Details of that plan are supposed to be released next year. Construction has already begun on the Green Line.
