yesterday there was a peaceful protest at the mcps_va school board office. It was amazing to see our mcps community come together to support something so so important. Jasmine Earley was one of several people who spoke yesterday. She is a bhs class of 2020 graduate, who plans to attend virginia.tech in the fall. She spoke about the racism and discrimination that she has faced through out the years in our school system. As a whole community we need to do better, and we will. This year bburghsbruins will make it our top priority to ensure the representation of ALL students.
