I’ve been waiting to share my new helmet until the right time, and it’s finally here! savage.designs and I spent a lot of time working on this and I am so happy with how it turned out. Not only does it incorporate my Irish and German roots, it perfectly represents my biggest supporter - my Dad. - My dad was stood by me through the good and the bad and would always say “that’s my boy” or “that’s my kid”. Even when it was sarcastic, it was his way of showing his pride. For this helmet, we decided to represent the last time my dad watched me win. It was Road America 2013, my dad watched from home because he wasn’t cleared to travel and in his typical fashion, he was recorded saying “That’s my kid!” as our car took the checkered flag.
