Just like that round 1 of the 2019 IMSA season has come to an end. For #bmwendurancechallenge, our race didn’t end as planned. We started the race with a penalty causing us to go a lap down, it took kentonkoch nearly his whole stint to finally regain ground and move onto lead lap. After jumping in, I had contact that caused rear suspension damage. Ultimately we ended up retiring our car with just over an hour left. Kenton and I were well on our way to starting off the season with a bang but such is racing!
